Time to Check Yourself
It’s not me, it’s him, her, them. (Does this sound familiar at all? The next time you catch yourself in a moment of anger, frustration, or disappointment take a minute and look within.
As the saying goes, when you point just one finger outwards, there are usually 3 more fingers pointing right back at you. What we see and experience from others, is often a mirror of something inside of us.
In those moments of anger, frustration or disappointment, stop yourself and think for just a minute, what is it inside of you that is allowing those feelings to come to the surface.
- What can you do differently to bring forward more positive thoughts and feelings?
- Are you coming from your heart, from a place of love? or are you coming from a place fear?
When you stand firmly in a place of love you are able to hold space for your highest self and a space for others to be their highest self.
The next time you are not feeling your best, check yourself.
The ability to switch our thoughts at any moment is one of the best gifts we have. Use your gifts – share your talents!
Now go check yourself and bring your best self to the day!
