Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome to the latest edition of TPT (Thought Provoking Tuesday)!
It’s easy to get caught up in the past and dwell on the mistakes we’ve made. Today I’d like you to let it all go and look to what’s ahead, and what you are striving to create in your future.
We’ve all been told to “live in the moment”, an act that can be so hard to do sometimes. Where to begin? How to begin? How to let go of the past moments?
Here’s what I want you to do. Write down something you haven’t been able to get over. Big or small, just put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard and let the words flow.
It can be:
- A memory
- An event from childhood
- A major turning point in your life
- The birth of a child
- The death of a loved one
- The dissolution of a marriage or friendship
- A failed business endeavor
- A secret no one else knows
The act of simply writing it down will allow you to begin the process of letting go. It can be for your eyes only or if you feel so inclined, share your “hard-to-shed-moment” below.
Let your past be your past, making room for your future.
To Your Continued and Ever-Growing Success,
The act of writing something down is very effective – for both goals, dreams, and the past.
